It's was fun! I didn't expect i would like auditor's job. It seems to be very boring to most of the people, and i've heard too much negative comments from a lot of people. But it doesn't turn out as what i've heard.
However, it can be explained as i am just a trainee, so i still not yet feel the heavy responsibility of meeting the deadlines. I saw my seniors rushing for deadline, working on weekends and sleeping at late at night. They keep on complaining that they are tired, stressed out, but they don't say they are giving up. I guess maybe in 2013, i'll be one of them. LOL.
Anyway, until now, i enjoy my job. I guess i like to travel instead of sitting in office. The first day was the day of test. We need to take 5 tests. After passing the test, we were assigned to seniors. But in the second day, we were still in office because seniors were unable to pick us up as they've already traveled for engagement. That's the most boring day. We'd nothing to do, ending up reading audit materials on intranet. The third day was fun as we followed seniors to Bukit Minyak. I was borrowed by another team because my senior was at outstation and unable to fetch me. So i've learnt to search for invoices which are listed and match the amount with the record. This is vouching i guess? Haha. What's tiring was the work of searching, but it really filled up time. After a while, I realised it's already one hour over! LOL. I feel it's just like working on assignments, without caring days and nights.
What's most exciting is i am going outstation next week. Though with little worries, i still feel very happy with this. I really hope i will learn a lot from this internship. So far, i am happy and enjoying. I hope this will stay. =D
This is what we usually think of auditors, but if you really enjoy your job, you will be very committed and your life will be enriched by the job. =D
Still not knowing what i m going to face, but i hope for the best. =) GO GO SHIYEE!
